Community Development Philanthropy Scan

Innovations are emerging from the blending of community development and community philanthropy--place-based fields benefitting from each others' tools.

A community foundation adopts organizing tools of community development organizations. A community development organization adopts fund-raising tools of community foundations. What's happening is a blending into a new approach--community development philanthropy--that is creating new capacities for community change. Here's a brief scan of these intriguing developments.
